The One or Two or Three Mini-Triathalon

Here’s an opportunity to try your hand at a Mini-triathlon.

On Saturday, 24th July 2010, the Aughadown Defibrillator Community First Responder Group are organising The One or Two or Three Mini-triathlon.

The complete triathlon comprises swimming from Heir Island to Cunnamore (about 500 metres), cycling from Cunnamore to Whitehall (about 1 mile) and then a run to Turkhead/Poulnacalle Cross, Lisheen (about 1 mile).

Entrants not wanting to do the whole lot are welcome to do any part (or parts) of the course they wish, One or Two or Three, you choose! Two or three man team entries are very welcome as are youngsters (provided they have adult supervision at all times).

There is an entry fee of €20 for individual entrants or €30 for a team effort or members of the same family.  There will be reduced fee for those not doing all 3 sectors.

Registration takes place at Cunnamore from 10am on the day. Ferries will leave Cunnamore Pier for Heir Island from 10am onwards for an 11am start and the ferry is free for all participants.

Refreshments and prize giving in Minihanes Bar afterwards.

For more information please contact Diana Pitcher on 028 38483, Karen on 028 38130 or email aughadown.cfr@gmail.com
